Your table should be comfortable for diners and still leave enough room to walk around it. Width of the table should be at least 36 inches wide.
The table should be designed in such a way that should avoid the contact of the elbows while eating. Each person should have 2 feet of eating space.
Round tables are superb for small spaces as they fit in tight spaces and have no sharp corners to bump into. And with transparent acrylic chairs to show off a beautiful table and make a small room feels more spacious. While a rectangular table works well in a long, narrow room as it leaves more room for traffic flow.
